About Dr. Israel M. Finger
Dr. Finger is a general dentist specializing in removable prosthetics (i.e. dentures) and dental implants. An expert in rebuilding smiles after tooth loss, damage, or disease, Dr. Finger is passionate about helping patients enjoy the ultimate in beautiful, well-functioning teeth.
Dr. Finger is originally from South Africa, and he studied prosthodontics at the Ohio State University, from which he earned his master’s degree. He then continued advanced training in prosthodontics at the Maxillofacial Prosthetics at Roswell Park Institute in Buffalo, NY, where he gained extensive experience with reconstructive procedures for cleft palate and post-oral cancer treatment.
Throughout his career, Dr. Finger has lectured extensively on prosthodontics, both internationally and nationally, and has contributed to textbooks and authored articles and journals related to his field. He was also a professor at the University of Louisiana Medical Center as well as the director of the Graduate Program in Prosthodontics. During this time, Dr. Finger also helped to pioneer a digital denture technique with AvaDental.
