October 12th, 2017 is officially Freedom Day USA, a day where businesses across the nation give back to active military personnel, their immediate families, and veterans by offering free services. It is just a small token of thanks for the lifetime of freedom our military has provided our country. At MoreSMILES Dental Spa, we are proud to say that our own Dr. James Moreau and one of our excellent hygienists will be participating in Freedom Day USA by offering free dental care to those from the Greater New Orleans area who have served and are serving us so well.
How to Get Free Care on Freedom Day USA
The first Freedom Day USA was held back in 2013, and it has continued to grow by leaps and bounds over the past few years, including more and more businesses that provide an even greater variety of services. It was actually founded by a dentist, Dr. Robert Martino, to help him and others express their gratitude for our current and past service members as well as their families who have sacrificed so much.
On October 12th, MoreSMILES Dental Spa will open its doors and provide free dental cleanings and simple restorative procedures for active military, their immediate family, and veterans. If you know someone in the military, please reach out to them and let them know about Freedom Day USA at MoreSMILES Dental Spa.
In order to receive free dental care, we ask that active duty military personnel and their families carry their military IDs, and that veterans bring their military ID or their discharge papers. With each person we help, we’ll ask if they have any dental concerns, and then we’ll perform the necessary procedure right there on the spot.
This event is quite popular around the country, and there will likely be a crowd and a long line, so we encourage everyone to try and get here early if possible. We will try to be as efficient and thorough with each patient as we can, and we appreciate your patience if you experience any extended wait times.
